We're 91 days from the trip. It seems like time is flying by. As part of getting ready, I went to the dentist for the first time in over two years (did I mention that?). I discussed some of my issues and she recommended a crown on one of my teeth. I got the temporary a week ago. I have to admit it wasn't as terrible as I had feared, but the tooth just isn't much better. It's somewhat less sensitive to cold, but I can't chew on it at all now, where I could chew carefully on it before. I feel sure I'm going to have to have a root canal, but my confidence in dental professionals is waning fast. I can see having the root canal, and it still not being better, and thousands of dollars later (the crown was almost a thousand), I'll end up having my tooth extracted anyway. It's a back tooth, so it's not a cosmetic issue, but it's a chewer and I'd like to be able to continue eating solid food.
On other fronts, we still don't have a place to stay in London when we get there. My wife has been furiously looking at web sites. The problem is not finding someplace that we'll like, the problem is finding a place everyone will like. I think she's found several very nice places, we should just pick one and have done with it.
